THE UPRIGHT

2921 East Grand Boulevard, Detroit

With fall well underway, The Upright is celebrating its first anniversary with a new menu to toast to. “Bar Manager Jacob Feitler maintains an extensive menu, featuring sippers under four categories: Familiar Faces (cocktails everyone knows), Historic Treasures (obscure classics), Island Escapes (beachy drinks), and Originals to the bar. In honor of their anniversary, The Upright is dropping a new cocktail menu, which dazzles and delights. Standouts include the Rahjah, a clarified milk punch with jasmine flower infused botanist gin, Cointreau, Cocchi rosa, and lemon juice, the Choco Flip with Remy Martin 1738, house creme de cacao, Averna, Grand Marnier, and whole egg and the seasonal Fall of Eden with buffalo trace bourbon, watershed apple brandy, honey syrup and bitters. For those taking part in Sober October, Feitler added four cheeky mocktails to try – like the Na-rgarita, Placebo, and Strawberry Faux-jito.”
